Witnessing for Veterans Day, 2017
October 1st, 2001 as I drove to Ft. Bragg Army Base to take John and Romans and gospel tracts to our soldiers, one of the main goals was to try and deal with a people that just might be receptive. In my heart the main goal was to glorify the Name of Jesus Christ. That goal has not changed.
As of 2017 we have now collated 3,000,000 gospel tracts “little preachers” John and Romans, song books, hand written Thank You for our FREEDOM cards and compassionate coloring pictures.
In just a few more days we will have the privilege to glorify His Wondrous name in a great way. Please keep all our laborers in your prayers. I recently sent out a list of 31 cities that we will be in for Veterans Day. If you received my email about the list, and if you live in one of those cities, maybe you would take time to go out and encourage the laborers that will be out front of the restaurant.
We have over 20,000 Gospel packets that have now been distributed to all the churches and individuals that are participating in the 2017 Veterans Day Campaign. With each packet containing 20 “little preachers” we are hitting the front lines (the restaurants) with 400,000 preachers that will preach and preach and preach until the Holy Ghost gets done with them, AMEN. Please pray for them.
Through the years, our military has fought and died for our freedom. September 11, 2001 brought a challenge to our nation – a challenge that the service men and women face on a daily basis.
People in this great nation are grateful for our service members. We are thankful that we can sleep safely at night due to the dedication of these valiant men and women who care so much about us and our freedom. We also know that they sometimes have to give up their lives in support of that freedom.
Berean Armed Forces Ministries exists to help these service members understand the true freedom they can experience eternally, and the love of fellow Christians who continually pray for and support them.
We rely on help from volunteers who write Thank You cards, color pictures of encouragement, and collate gospel tracks into a packet to distribute. A fun project for young children and a way to get them involved in ministering to our soldiers are our coloring pages.
